ONLINE: NouVon Total Fitness Workout for ALL!
NouVon is Yvonne's own creation of a safe, yet challenging Total Body Workout, designed for everyone, as you work at Your Own pace. This class is done while standing and sitting, with no floor work. Improve Muscular Strength, Endurance, Flexibility and range of motion; heart and lungs as we strengthen our cardiopulmonary system; Balance, Stability, Core, Abdominals, and Postural Alignment. Finish with a soothing stretch and relaxation laced with mindfulness to rejuvinate and invigorate, calm and de-stress!
We do it all in this class! Guaranteed to feel great! So, clear your mind and get ready for a fun, total body workout!
Preparation for NouVon classes: - A small clear area - chair, preferably with no arms - wall, wider than shoulder width, if possible - hand weights or something comparable, to offer some upper body resistance for weight training - medium-sized ball or something comparable that you can find around the house, like a towel - optional: 2-4 tennis balls. If you need some tennis balls, let me know. I can give you some. - sneakers are best
Classes will be conducted on ZOOM.
- Movements can be made gentler by sitting, using less resistance, less energy; making movements smaller by keeping limbs closer in toward midline of your body. - You can add intensity by finding and using more muscle and energy, increasing resistance, and making movements bigger, reaching further or extending more. In all of Yvonne's classes, reduce and relieve stress and tension through mindfulness and exercising at your own pace, while modifying and challenging. Every exercise begins with a basic movement that you are encouraged to modify to satisfy your personal fitness needs and goals. Options will be offered for variety and intensity that you can try, if you wish to increase your personal challenge, within your safe zone. You are in control of your own workout. As you challenge yourself within your safe zone, whatever you can do safely is better than nothing at all!!!
