PHOTOGRAPHY: COMPOSITION AND THE ELEMENTS OF VISUAL DESIGN (ONLINE CLASS)

Ages 18+
In this class you will learn about the basic elements of composition and visual design and how to use them to create great photographs. You will learn how to see like a photographer and transform your approach from taking pictures to making photographs, no matter what type of camera you are using. This class is designed for beginner to intermediate photographers who are not familiar with the elements of visual design and who want to raise the level of their photographs. This class consists of four 1-hour sessions with homework in between each session. This class is all about the homework and making lots of photographs. Each session will include a lecture and critique of photographs. All types of digital cameras are permitted including Digital SLRs, Point-n-Shoot, iPhone, and smartphone. The only requirement is that you know how to use your camera as we will not be reviewing this in class.
