Camp Acton has a variety of wooded campsites available for rental through the Acton Recreation Department.

A great local place to recreate! There are eight campsite locations available for overnight camping-permit required. Camp  Acton is located off Pope Road via road access gate to Camp Acton. In order to use Camp Acton for overnight camping, an application must be completed. 

Submit your permit application no later than 3 business days in advance with payment.  Please note our office is closed on weekends and cannot process last minute requests.

RATE IS $25 PER SITE PER OVERNIGHT (MIN. 1 DAY FEE FOR ALL RENTALS) MAX OCCUPANCY PER SITE: 10 PERSONS

Pending availability, approval granted by the Town of Acton Recreation Department.  Camp Acton is carry-in, carry-out.  A portable toilet is onsite April 1 -- Nov. 30.  Please display a copy of the issued permit on your vehicle dashboard.  Approved permit from the Recreation Department is required whether for daytime only or for overnight use.
Refunds or credits will not be issued due to weather or withdrawal. Pending availability, rescheduling may be possible within three months.

Booking Info
All overnight stay pricing includes a 10am checkout on the day following the last date you book.

For example: I'm arriving Monday, June 1 and leaving June 5, so I book 6/1-6/4 because checkout on 6/5 is included in the pricing of the reservation.

Book your date of arrival and any following days. Do not book the date of your departure, it is included in your reservation. Check in at noon and check out by 10am the day following your last reservation date.

**Whoops! If you book the date of your departure, you will be paying for an additional night's stay regardless of whether you stay past 10am that day or not.
