Explore a multitude of 3-dimensional art mediums through an exciting week of hands-on projects with the guidance of a Makers Workshop artist. Each week has a focus area, either Glass, Soap Making, Sculpture, and Drawing and Painting for the morning workshops. Students will explore different techniques and styles within the medium-of-the-week to create exciting projects they can be proud of. In the afternoon after lunch students will turn their focus to a wide array of arts and crafts projects to get the chance to try their hand at jewelry making, metal working, pottery, painting, mixed media collage, soap making, and more.
Soap Making: Bar Soap, Bath Salts, Bath Bombs, Lip Balms, Face Masks
Glass Week: Garden Stake, Dishes, Jewelry, Glassblowing Demos
Sculpture: Metalworking, Ceramics, Glass
Drawing and Painting: Canvas Painting, Drawing Techniques, Painted Ceramic Centerpieces
Students bring their own lunch (limited refrigeration), beverage, and snack. Before and after care is available at an additional cost.
