Acton Sled Dog Race: January - June 2021  GOAL: $20,000
Would you like a dog park in Acton?  Have you ever wanted to participate in a sled dog race?
Not all dogs are suitable for off-leash outings. Puppies, dogs in training, disabled dogs, and certain dog breeds are best exercised in safe, secure, contained areas. Over 2,000 dogs call Acton home!  In a dog park, dogs can exercise and play off-leash in a controlled environment under owner supervision. Research shows that dog parks benefit dogs, their owners, senior citizens, disabled citizens and entire communities.
Grant funding is available to build a dog park in Acton. All that is needed is a show of community support by contributing to matching funding for Community Preservation Act and Stanton Foundation grants.  YOU can help make it happen!  Our goal is to raise $20,000.
