The Field Hockey Skills Clinic is designed to introduce and develop fundamental field hockey skills in a fun, safe, and instructional environment. Participants will build confidence, coordination, and game awareness while learning the basics of offensive and defensive play.Players will focus on: Proper stick grip, stance, and ball control Dribbling, passing, and receiving techniques Shooting fundamentals and goal-scoring opportunities Defensive positioning, tackling basics, and footwork Agility, balance, and overall athletic movement Teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship The clinic is broken into progressive sessions allowing athletes to build skills step-by-step and apply them in game-like situations. Instruction is age-appropriate and inclusive, emphasizing safety, equal participation, and positive coaching.This clinic is ideal for beginner and developing players who want to learn the fundamentals of field hockey while staying active and having fun.

Instruction is tailored to age and ability levels, with an emphasis on safety, equal participation, and positive coaching.This clinic is ideal for beginners and developing players looking to learn the fundamentals of lacrosse while staying active and having fun.

Connect with nature through mindfulness and embodiment practices from the Alexander Technique in this immersive outdoor event. Join local teacher Hannah Greene for an energizing morning session of gentle qi gong movements, guided meditation, sensory awareness exercises, and mindful walking. Deepen your awareness of the environment around you as a source of support and wonder. People of all ages and abilities are welcome.These are individual one-day sessions.We will meet in front of the amphitheater stage at Nara Park.Hannah Greene is a certified Alexander Technique teacher and Registered Somatic Movement Educator. She lives in Acton with her family. She enjoys choral singing, hiking, camping, Buddhist meditation, and supporting social justice causes.
