We will explore one of the newest Town conservation areas, located between Central Street and Massachusetts Ave (Route 111). Learn the history of the property, owned and farmed by the Mead family. After the trail walk, a house tour with refreshments will be offered at the George V. Mead house, a fieldstone craftsman bungalow built as a summer home by George and Effie Mead in 1911.
