Here is your opportunity for getting behind the scenes of a marionette production. As part of this fun workshop, you will first see a full production marionette show by Tanglewood Marionettes followed with a Puppet Manipulation Workshop. Between the show and the workshop, refreshments will be provided.
Please note that the marionettes are complex and can be frustrating for young children so we have a minimum age limit of 8 years up through adult.
If you are signing up a youth and are doing a drop-off program as a Kids Night Out or Kids Day Out, please choose appropriate session as the cost and time frame will differ.

Founded in 1993, Tanglewood Marionettes is a nationally touring marionette theater based in New England. Large, beautifully hand-crafted marionettes, colorful sets, and integrated lighting and sound create a fully immersive theatrical experience. Our highly skilled puppeteers have spent many years perfecting their art, delighting audiences of all ages as they bring our repertoire of classic tales to life. We are the recipients of two UNIMA awards, puppetry’s highest honor, for our productions An Arabian Adventure and The Dragon King.
