Led by experienced instructors, our program offers a welcoming environment for participants of all ages and skill levels to explore this timeless sport. From mastering the basics of stance and posture to refining aim and accuracy, each session blends expert guidance with hands-on practice, ensuring every archer can progress at their own pace. Whether you're a young enthusiast eager to embark on a new adventure, or an adult seeking a rewarding hobby, this program provides the perfect opportunity to develop confidence, discipline and camaraderie while honing your skill. 
Archery with On the Mark! (Youths)
Learn the Olympic sport of archery and build confidence, self-esteem and focus. Using beautiful wooden recurve bows, this martial art has mental and physical health benefits to help children succeed on and off the range. Weekly lesson plans balance skill with friendly competition. Grades 4 and up
 
Archery with On the Mark! (Adults)
Release stress with arrows! Relax after the work day with this low-impact program. Archery is an Olympic sport and is nationally one of the fastest growing.  It is easy to learn, but challenging to master. The thrill of shooting a bow is unlike any other body/mind sensation, involving elements and strategy similar to golf, yoga, martial arts and even chess! Ages 14 and up
All equipment provided and class is led by teams of certified USA Archery instructors. 
Please wear closed-toe footwear and bring a filled water bottle.

 ARCHERY

REFUNDS & WITHDRAWALS: You may withdraw from a program up to 7 (seven) business days prior to the start date—a non-refundable administrative fee of $25 will be applied to each registration. After that time, no refunds will be issued. Administrative Fees are non-refundable. All requests must be submitted in writing to the Recreation Department requesting cancellation. Refund requests are not accepted through instructors. Refunds by check require several weeks to process. Refunds will not be made for classes missed due to weather. Exception to refund policy timeframe: Written letter from a licensed physician excusing participant from a program prior to first class.
