NARA Camp Archery 2022
REFUND POLICY:  
NO REFUNDS BEYOND SEVEN BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO START OF SESSION. 
You may withdraw up to seven business days prior to the start of a session. A $50.00 non-refundable registration fee will be deducted per session/per child.  
Pre-Camp and Post-Camp: A non-refundable registration fee of $10.00 is deducted per session/per child. 
After the refund timeframe no refunds will be issued. 
Exception to refund policy timeframe: Written letter from a licensed physician excusing child from the session prior to the first day of session start date.  In the event of physician’s letter the non-refundable registration fee still applies.  
Refunds are not issued due to weather conditions or water closure.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Recreation Office, recreation@actonma.gov.  Refund requests are not accepted by NARA Summer Staff. 
REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR EACH WEEK IS THE PRIOR THURSDAY AT NOON.
NARA Camp runs for nine weeks from June 24-August 23, 2024.  The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm.  Pre-Camp and Post-Camp are available as separate options.  (There is no camp on Thursday, July 4.)
There is no waiting list.  Please watch for availability at "View Seats."
Switching Sessions:  There is a $25.00 fee to switch sessions, pending seating availability. Requests to switch sessions must be made in writing to: recreation@actonma.gov.
Checks are payable to: TOWN OF ACTON.
No sibling or all-season discounts are available.
Registration is weekly only--there is not a daily rate.
Please register for the grade your child is entering.

NARA Camp creates an environment that encourages children to grow both physically and socially.  Our dedicated staff works with peer groups to engage children in healthy outdoor activity along with enrichment opportunities that are challenging and fun.  A variety of age-appropriate activities is offered each week, including arts & crafts, drama, sports, group challenges, nature studies, swimming and more!  Additional special activities and field trips are based on each week’s theme.   
Each camper will receive a free NARA Camp T-shirt!  Campers should wear their T-shirt on field trips days for group identification.

Session 1:  Ages 4-5 Goward Playground & Library.  Ages 6+ Urban Air. 
Session 2:  (No field trips this week.)
Session 3:  Ages 4-5 Gardner Playground & Ice Cream. Ages 6+ Ecotarium. 
Session 4:  Ages 4-7 Acton Discovery Museum.  Ages 8+ Boundless Adventures.
Session 5:  Ages 4-5 Gardner Playground in Acton.  Ages 6+ Water Country.
Session 6:  Ages 4+ Canobie Lake Park.
Session 7:  Ages 4+ Kimball Farm in Westford.
Session 8:  Ages 4-5 Drumlin Farm.  Ages 6+ Trampoline Park APEX in Marlborough.
Session 9:  Ages 4-5 Castle in the Trees Playground in Littleton. Ages 6+ Southwick Zoo.

2024 NARA Day Camp Guidelines
NARA Camp follows recommendations from the American Camp Association (ACA), CDC and Acton Board of Health.  The following are prevention and treatment methods outlined for NARA Camp: 
- We ask that all staff and/or campers stay home if they are sick. 
- Cough or sneeze into a tissue or your elbow.
- All campers must bring a filled water bottle labeled with their name on it.
- Staff will clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces, such as door knobs, faucets, equipment, and more.
- Drop-off and pickup will be a drive-through process at the Miracle Field, 75 Quarry Road.
- Visitors (including parents) are not permitted.

  • Session 7 -- August 5-9: Pokémon
  • Session 8 -- August 12-16: Under the Sea
  • Session 9 -- August 19-23: Harry Potter
