Lunchtime Garden Therapy with Cathy Fochtman, Master Gardener • Register • View Cart •

Come create a seasonal project incorporating cut flowers, harvested dried flowers, and greens. We will experiment with sustainable materials such as recycled containers and Oshun pouches. Join us for one or more sessions and enjoy taking home what YOU have made.

Session 1 - Thurs, Sept. 26: Fall Flowers – Decorate a colorful recycled olive oil can to host a selection of cut fall flowers.

Session 2: Thurs, Nov. 21: Harvest Box - A display box will be transformed with dried harvested plant material.

Session 3: Thurs, Jan. 23:  Wintergreen Arrangement – Voluptuous flowers paired with fresh-cut evergreens.

Session 4: Thurs, March 20:  Pave Spring Garden – A container with a low carpet of spring-like blooms.

MATERIALS SUPPLIED BY INSTRUCTOR: All materials and tools will be provided.




REFUNDS & WITHDRAWALS: You may withdraw from a program up to 7 (seven) business days before the start date—a non-refundable administrative fee of $25 will be applied to each registration. After that time, no refunds will be issued. Administrative Fees are non-refundable. All requests must be submitted in writing to the Recreation Department requesting cancellation. Refund requests are not accepted through instructors. Refunds by check require several weeks to process. Refunds will not be made for classes missed due to weather. Exception to refund policy timeframe: Written letter from a licensed physician excusing participant from a program before first class.
