Class Description
Introductory Pickleball Class (Beginner)
This class is designed for newcomers to pickleball or players with limited experience. It covers the basic fundamentals of the game, including rules, court layout, and scoring. Players will learn how to hold the paddle, proper stance, and basic strokes such as the forehand, backhand, and serve. Emphasis is placed on developing hand-eye coordination, understanding the rules of play, and building confidence. The class is fun, relaxed, and intended to make new players feel comfortable with the game.
Intermediate Pickleball Class
This class is for players who have a solid understanding of the basic rules and techniques and are ready to refine their skills. Players will focus on improving consistency, footwork, and positioning. The class will delve into more advanced strokes like the third-shot drop, dinking, and the volley game at the net. There will be an emphasis on strategic play, including understanding when to attack or defend and improving communication with a partner in doubles play.
Novice Pickleball Class
Designed for players with significant experience and who are comfortable with the basic and intermediate techniques of the game. In this class, players will focus on advanced tactics, advanced shot selections, and developing a deeper understanding of strategy. The class will cover complex drills that challenge control, speed, and accuracy, as well as incorporating mental aspects of the game, like anticipation and reading the opponent's moves. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in competitive match play with feedback from the instructor.
