2025 NARA BEACH MEMBERSHIP
CHECK IS PAYABLE TO: TOWN OF ACTON. 
NARA BEACH WILL BE CLOSED ON JULY 4, 2025 FOR INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION.
MEMBERSHIP PASSES 
ONLY ADULTS ARE ALLOWED TO BE MEMBERS--PLEASE DO NOT LIST CHILDREN AS MEMBERS.
No hard copy membership passes are issued -- check in with the lifeguard on duty to confirm your membership on roster.

Family Memberships can bring up to 6 people, including the member.  Member must be present.  Family membership is the only option that permits guests.  Senior, Couple and Individual memberships do not permit guests.

Waiver: Refunds are not given for Beach Memberships.  Refunds are not given for weather closures, Board of Health Water Standards, or lifeguard/patron safety ratios. The Town of Acton has the right to revoke a beach membership for non-compliance with NARA Beach rules.
Applicant and family members agree to hold harmless the Town of Acton and/or its employees for claims or liability related to any accident that may occur.  Applicant and family members give permission for medical treatment to be given if the need arises.  

2025 NARA BEACH RULES 
  1. The beach will operate Saturday, May 24 through Friday, August 22, 2025. 
  2. Beach Hours: 9:00AM—6:00PM. 5/24-6/22 weekends only. 6/23-8/22 Sunday–Saturday.
  3. Lifeguards are on duty during posted hours of beach operation.
  4. Lifeguards reserve the right to close the beach at any time due to weather or when required lifeguard ratios are insufficient. 
  5. The beach closes for a minimum of 30 minutes if thunder and/or lightning occur.
  6. Dogs are not allowed on the beach.  All dogs at NARA Park must be leashed.
  7. Smoking or vaping on the beach and at rental areas is prohibited.
  8. Vehicles are prohibited on the interior roadway, walkways, and any grassed area. 
  9. Parking is permitted only in lower and upper parking lots.
  10. Children under the age of 12 require adult supervision.
  11. Flotation devices are prohibited except for Coast Guard approved PFD.
  12. Glass containers are prohibited throughout NARA Park including the beach.
  13. ID must be shown to lifeguard upon entry at beach gate. Daily passes may be purchased at the snack bar--attendant will issue wristbands.  Lifeguards reserve the right to deny beach access to anyone without proper identification or who did not pay daily rate. 
  14. Beach memberships are non-transferable. 
  15. Swimming is restricted to designated “swim area” only. 
  16. No alcoholic beverages are allowed at NARA Park without a one-day liquor permit.
  17. No diapers allowed – swim diapers only.  If child is not potty-trained, swim diaper is required.
  18. Appropriate clothing must be worn at all times, regardless of age.  Failure to do so will result in dismissal from the beach.
  19. Bacteria level at NARA Pond is tested weekly or more frequently.  Beach operations are closed if Board of Health receives a test result not meeting state standards.
  20. Refunds are not issued due to Board of Health closure and/or closure due to weather. Refunds are not issued due to insufficient staffing.
  21. No objects may be thrown in lifeguarded zone.  Play is allowed outside lifeguarded area only.
  22. Boat rentals are available for $10 per 30 minutes, provided water level is sufficient.
  23. Motorized boats are prohibited on NARA Pond.
  24. Personal, non-motorized boats are allowed only during the off-season, September–May.
