2026 NARA Beach Memberships
Family– $125R / $175NR (for up to 5 members in the same household)
-Additional household members over 5 members $10 each
-Non-household members who are sitters/grandparents can be added for $25 each
Individual: $30R / $50NR
Couple: $50R / $95NR
Senior (60+): 20R / $25NR
-Grandchildren can be added for $10 each
Senior Couple: $30R / $40NR (At least one member must be 60+)
-Grandchildren can be added for $10 each
Waiver and Refund Policy
Beach memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Refunds will not be issued for weather-related closures, water quality closures or restrictions, lifeguard staffing limitations, capacity restrictions, public health requirements, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond the Town's control that may affect beach operations.
The Town of Acton reserves the right to suspend or revoke a beach membership without refund for failure to comply with NARA Beach rules, regulations, policies, or staff directives.
The applicant and all family members covered under this membership assume all risks associated with participation in beach and recreational activities and agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Town of Acton, its officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, or liability arising from participation in activities at NARA Beach, except as otherwise provided by Massachusetts law.
In the event of an illness, injury, or medical emergency, the applicant authorizes the Town of Acton and its representatives to secure emergency medical treatment for any user.
NARA Beach Rules
- Beach Season: Saturday, June 13th – Sunday, August 23, 2026.
- Weekends Only: June 13th-June 21st. Daily Operations: June 25th–August 23rd, 2026.
- Beach Hours: Dawn to Dusk
- Lifeguards on Duty 10:00 AM–5:30 PM.
- Lifeguards may close the beach at any time due to weather, safety concerns, water conditions, or staffing levels.
- The beach will close for a minimum of 30 minutes following thunder or lightning.
- All patrons must follow the directions of Lifeguards and Parks & Recreation staff.
- Swimming is permitted only in designated swimming areas.
- Children under age 12 must be supervised by a responsible person aged 16 or older.
- Flotation devices are prohibited. U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets are permitted.
- Throwing balls, frisbees, footballs, or other objects is prohibited
- Children who are not toilet trained must wear a swim diaper.
- Appropriate swim attire is required at all times.
- Dogs are prohibited on the beach. All dogs in NARA Park must remain leashed.
- Smoking, vaping, and tobacco use are prohibited.
- Alcohol is prohibited unless authorized by a Town-issued one-day liquor permit.
- Glass containers are prohibited.
- Parking is permitted only in designated lots.
- Beach memberships are non-transferable.
- Beach members must present a valid membership upon request.
- Daily visitors must purchase a pass and wear the issued wristband.
- Water quality is monitored regularly and posted at the main office and town website
- Refunds will not be issued for weather, water quality, safety, operational, or staffing-related closures.
- Boat rentals are available when conditions permit.
- Motorized watercraft are prohibited on NARA Pond.
- Disorderly conduct, unsafe behavior, or failure to comply with staff directions may result in removal from the beach and park.
- The Town of Acton reserves the right to modify beach operations and rules as necessary to protect public health and safety.

By purchasing a membership, the applicant acknowledges that they have read, understand, and agree to comply with all NARA Beach rules, regulations, policies, and procedures and accepts these terms on behalf of all family members included in the membership.
Family
This membership is for up to 5 persons who live at the address listed on the household account. Additional household members can be added for $10R/$15NR per member. A sitter or grandparent that lives outside of the household can be added for $25.
