Discover the Olympic sport of archery with On the Mark Archery, a welcoming program designed for youth and adults of all experience levels. Led by certified USA Archery instructors, each session combines expert instruction, hands-on practice, and friendly competition in a supportive environment.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of archery, including stance, posture, safety, aiming, and accuracy. Using beautiful wooden recurve bows, archers will develop focus, confidence, discipline, and self-esteem while enjoying the physical and mental benefits of this rewarding sport.
Youth Archery
Young archers will build confidence, focus, and self-esteem while learning the fundamentals of Olympic-style archery. Weekly lessons balance skill development with friendly competition, helping participants progress at their own pace while having fun and making new friends.
Ages: 4th - 8th grades
Day: Wednesdays
Time: 1:15pm - 2:15pm

Senior/Adult Archery
This low-impact activity that is easy to learn and challenging to master. Archery offers a unique mind-and-body experience, combining elements of golf, yoga, martial arts, and chess. Whether you're looking for a new hobby, a way to relieve stress, or a fun challenge, On the Mark Archery provides an engaging experience for every skill level.

Day: Wednesdays
Time: 12pm - 1pm
Length: 6 Weeks
Fee: $190R/$195NR
All equipment is provided, and classes are led by teams of certified USA Archery instructors. Please wear closed-toe footwear and bring a filled water bottle.
REFUNDS & WITHDRAWALS: You may withdraw from a program up to 7 (seven) business days prior to the start date—a non-refundable administrative fee of $25 will be applied to each registration. After that time, no refunds will be issued. Administrative Fees are non-refundable. All requests must be submitted in writing to the Recreation Department requesting cancellation. Refund requests are not accepted through instructors. Refunds by check require several weeks to process. Refunds will not be made for classes missed due to weather. Exception to refund policy timeframe: Written letter from a licensed physician excusing participant from a program prior to first class.
