Adaptive Fun with Adaptive and Fitness and Movement

Move • Build confidence • Make friends!
Adaptive Fitness & Movement + Acton Recreation
Working together to create inclusive opportunities for individuals with disabilities to move, connect, grow, and thrive.
At Adaptive Fitness & Movement, we believe movement is about more than exercise. Our small group programs create opportunities to develop social skills, build friendships, practice communication, and experience the confidence that comes from being part of a supportive community. Every participant is encouraged to celebrate their progress and successes big or small.

Adaptive Fitness Circuit
Our small-group Adaptive Fitness Circuit focuses on functional exercises that help participants build skills useful for everyday life, including walking, balancing, reaching, carrying, and moving with greater confidence. Exercises are adapted to each participant’s current ability level, allowing everyone to work toward steady, achievable progress. Consistent class formats help participants become comfortable with routines while receiving individualized support, encouragement, and positive reinforcement from our coaches.
