BASECAMP 01720 IS A TRAVELING ADVENTURE CAMP FEATURING DAILY FIELD TRIPS ACROSS MASSACHUSETTS AND AROUND THE NEW ENGLAND REGION. EACH DAY BRINGS A NEW DESTINATION— FROM SCENIC HIKES AND BEAUTIFUL BEACHES TO FASCINATING HISTORIC SITES, MUSEUMS, AND ACTIVE OUTDOOR FUN. TO BALANCE THE ADVENTURE, EACH WEEK ALSO INCLUDES ONE RELAXED CAMP DAY AT NARA PARK WHERE CAMPERS CAN SWIM, PLAY GAMES, HANG OUT WITH FRIENDS, AND RECHARGE BEFORE THE NEXT ADVENTURE. Introduce your child to the joy of soccer! Super Soccer Stars is designed specifically for ages 2-7. Led by experienced coaches specializing in early childhood development, our program provides a nurturing environment where young players discover soccer fundamentals while building confidence and coordination. Through imaginative games, activities, and age-appropriate drills, children learn skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting in a playful and supportive setting. Join us for an introduction to this popular sport, where every child can shine and succeed at their own pace.At Super Soccer Stars, we teach soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment. Our program builds self-confidence, developing teamwork in every class. Our curriculum uses positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio enabling each child to improve at their own rate while having fun.All equipment is supplied. Weather makeup class will be determined by Super Soccer Stars.Min: 4 Max: 12REFUNDS & WITHDRAWALS: You may withdraw from a program up to 7 (seven) business days prior to the start date—a non-refundable administrative fee of $25 will be applied to each registration. After that time, no refunds will be issued. Administrative Fees are non-refundable. All requests must be submitted in writing to the Recreation Department requesting cancellation. Refund requests are not accepted through instructors. Refunds by check require several weeks to process. Refunds will not be made for classes missed due to weather. Each week features a unique theme designed to spark creativity, teamwork, and a love of learning. August 17–21: Snapology Scientists & Superstructures Combo Students explore science through hands-on experiments and LEGO® building challenges. Participants investigate concepts in physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering while designing, building, and testing their own projects in a fun, collaborative environment. August 24–28: Pokemania and Combat Robots Dive into the world of Pokémon through creative LEGO® building activities. Students design characters, build imaginative scenes, and create their own adventures while developing storytelling, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.-AND- Students design, build, and battle their own robots using LEGO® bricks and motorized components. Participants explore engineering concepts like gears, motors, and simple machines while testing and refining their designs.
