REFUNDS & WITHDRAWALS - Programs, Camp, Beach
PROXY REGISTRATIONS, PROGRAM CONFIRMATION & DISCLAIMER: A person may submit another's registration form, provided the form is properly completed and signed. The Recreation Department reserves the right to correct mistakes or adjust program fees made in this brochure or online at the time of release by print or internet and cancel any program due to low enrollment or inclement weather. Confirmations are not mailed out. All registrations are considered accepted unless you are contacted – no news is good news!

Behavior: We take great pride in the outstanding respect that our participants have exhibited over the years with our programs. For the enjoyment and safety of all participants and staff, inappropriate behavior will not be permitted. Our program has a zero tolerance policy. Grounds for dismissal include: disrespect for others or property, foul language, fighting, bullying, sexual harassment, spitting and biting. Refunds will not be given to a participant who has been dismissed from the program due to behavioral issues.
NARA BEACH: Refunds are not given for beach memberships. Refunds are also not given for weather related closures, Board of Health water standards, or lifeguard safety ratios. The Town of Acton has the right to revoke a beach membership for non-compliance to beach rules and regulations.
CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY: Classes are cancelled if Acton-Boxborough Schools are closed due to weather. Independent instructors are responsible to notify participants of class cancellations. Efforts will be made to reschedule classes cancelled due to weather but are not guaranteed. Any class cancellation due to instructor unavailability will be rescheduled or refunded. Participant's inability to attend rescheduled sessions does not qualify for refund.
If the Town closes offices due to weather, the Recreation Center will not be open.
